Filter Press

The filter press operates on a simple yet effective principle of pressure filtration. A series of filter plates and frames (or recessed plates) are arranged alternately and clamped together. Slurry is pumped into the press, where solids are retained between filter media, and the clear filtrate passes through outlets. After filtration, the cakes are easily discharged manually or automatically.
